BY ORDER OF THE CHIEF OF POLICE the TOWN OF DELCAMBRE has issued a mandatory, city wide CURFEW from 10PM until 6AM beginning 10PM Friday, July 12th and will be in effect for Saturday, July 13th as well..
(Emergency personnel will be allowed on the roadways during the set curfew times.)
The Delcambre Police Department reminds citizens to stay safe throughout the storm including during the aftermath. Please no un-necessary driving and watch out Downed trees, power lines and flooding which are expected.

PREPARING FOR THE STORM
Bring loose, lightweight objects such as patio furniture, garbage cans inside or to a secure area. These items could become projectiles in high winds and rushing waters/flash flooding; anchor objects that would be unsafe to bring inside such as propane tanks.
SANDBAGS LOCATION is corner of CHURCH STREET. & ST. PETER STREET (the old carwash) at this time there is a limit of 10 bags per household. If sandbags are needed after hours, please call City Hall at (337) 685-4462.
Charge mobile devices. Locate flashlights & radio. Tell friends/family your location in case of power loss.
